The kitten was about 6 weeks old when I took this picture. It was pretty hard for me to take pictures because neither this kitten nor its two brothers would stay still. But I think this one turned out pretty good Entry for the "Content Cat" contest held by
An absolutely gorgeous picture. Nearly everything about it is beautiful. The kitten's eyes stick out greatly, and the unfocused paw adds an element of playfulness. Even the position the kitten is in with it's head turned to the side is cute.
Another reason why I admire this piece so much, is that it's unbelievably hard to take pictures of young kittens, as they're continuously bouncing all over the place and hardly ever sit still. We see a lot of pictures of sleeping kittens, as taking photographs of them is easy, but hardly ever any great ones with the eyes open and focused.
The only complaint I have is the pink towel. It would look so much better with a white towel. The pink is too close in colour to the cat's ears and fur and therefore the kitten itself doesn't stick out to me a whole lot.
At first sight of this, I simply fell in love! Adorable shot of the kitty you took there! One thing that really stands out is of course the entire ensemble of the details that can be captured with a professional camera. The color of his or her eyes really stand out in the photo along with the orange and white fur. It creates a beautiful contrast in such a cute little ball of fur. The paw seeming to want to touch the camera is also an adorable touch to an already seemingly perfect capture of a cat. I give it a five star!

But overall, a great picture! Well done.
